We put out the call and thousands of viewers showed up at the polls to vote for their favorite artists from the 13-episode season of WHW Rocks television show. Phase 1 Voting ended Wednesday, February 17, 2010. The following artists received the highest number of votes for their episode and will compete in Phase 2 Voting:Kyonte’, James Murphy, Violet Says 5, Omega Band, Substantial, Wordsmith, Alison Carney, Sam Grow, Flo Anito, Rayshun Lamarr, Konshens, and V. Rich. Only 4 acts will compete, at the spectacular finale, for the chance to win cash, other prizes and the title of “DC’s Favorite Artist”.
Performances are available for viewing and the polls are open at http://whwrocks.com.

Finalists Announced: Monday, March 1st
The “WHW Rocks Season Finale” will be held Thursday, April 8, 2010 at THEARC Theater in Washington, DC. The show will be hosted by on-air personality April Watts (formerly of Majic 102.3 FM). DJ Sixth Sense (Russ Parr Morning Show) will be on the turntables and a panel of entertainment professionals will determine the ultimate winner.
