Health Care Passage- Another Historic Obama Moment

This blog is partially about politics (I know, you're like, where is that - in the blog description.) So, here's my two cents.
A Victory for Common Sense
Last night, the United States House of Representatives passed the comprehensive health reform legislation America has been waiting on for nearly a century. Tonight a historic victory has been achieved. Not just for me and not just for you, but for ALL of us.

With House passage of the health care bill late Sunday, President Obama has succeeded where presidents going back decades before him have failed. But it was a hard-fought victory, costing him dearly in public approval and political capital. From Christian Science Monitor

I am so proud to be alive today and to see the accomplishments and victories of the Obama administration. I know that this work is not accomplished by the President alone, so many thanks to the people who actively participated in the long process over decades to make this happen.

Sincerely,

  1. I see it in the blog description. It does say "pop and politics." Shame on us if we assumed a DC based blog meant Hollywood politics. Anyway, thanks for posting.
